My wife and I spent a very enjoyable holiday at this venue and I wanted to try and capture the beautiful landscape and the glorious Sicilian weather in a water colour painting. But I kept putting it off (maybe the clue can be found in the principal activity here: producing delicious wines). But just before taking our seats for dinner on the final night, I was confronted by a sultry and sensational sunset.

This is my semi-abstract interpretation of that moment. I think that this piece is best displayed in a large format.

About the prints
